William "Ray" Fletcher

William Ray Fletcher, 91, of Calico Rock, Arkansas, passed away from this life on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Calico Rock, Arkansas. Ray was born May 21, 1933, in Buffalo, Arkansas to Webster James Fletcher and Minnie Leona (Bagwell) Fletcher. 

Ray was united in marriage to Retha Mae Flanery on June 22, 1953, in Culp, Arkansas and to this union two children were born. Ray worked in construction, as a mechanic, and retired as a millwright with ALCOA. Ray was active with the Community Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary and the Allison Volunteer Fire Department. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, friend, and loved his family very much. 

Ray leaves to mourn his passing, daughter, Tina Boris of Salem, Arkansas; son, Dennis Fletcher and wife Dolores of McKinney, Texas; six grandchildren, Edward Boris, William Fletcher, Greg Serna, Natalie Fletcher, Jennifer Fletcher, and Aaron Fletcher; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife (Retha Fletcher), parents, and four brothers (JM Fletcher, Bud Fletcher, Tip Fletcher, and Floyd Fletcher). 

There are no services scheduled at this time. Memorials may be given to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
