William Monroe Enterkin II, age 83, of Salem, Arkansas was born on March 11, 1934 in Jena, Louisiana, son of William Monroe I and Thelma (Holloway) Enterkin. He departed this life on November 12, 2017 in Salem, Arkansas. William was united in marriage to Shirley Juanita Jernigan and later married Jearline Evelyn Sechrest. William spent his working years as an auto body mechanic and served his country in the United States Air Force. He attended the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Union, Arkansas. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. William is survived by four sons; Billy Mark Enterkin and wife Melissa of Rockford, Alabama, Richard Dean Enterkin and wife Jeanine of Converse, Louisana, Michael Wayne Enterkin and wife Tammy of Jena, Louisana and Bobby Joe Enterkin of Jena, Louisiana; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Carte of Lafayette, Indiana and Elaine Zarnowski and husband Steve of Monroe, Louisiana; several half brothers and sisters; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife (Shirley Juanita Enterkin), parents and granddaughter (Candace Enterkin). No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
