Bill (William Roy) Stroud, 82, died March 10, 2022, at the home he shared with his wife Gwen (Gwendolyn Nora Baldridge) Stroud in Salem, Arkansas. He was born March 31, 1939, in Wideman, Arkansas.
He and Gwen married in Salem in 1968. They would have celebrated 54 years of marriage on June 14 of this year. Bill is survived by Gwen and their daughter, Jennifer E. Stroud, of Nashville, Tennessee.
He is also survived by sisters Mary Anne Burleson of Little Rock, Evalyn Hunt of Salem, and brother Jim Stroud (Kandie) of Pittsburg, Kansas.
Other survivors include nieces Kim Burleson of Little Rock, Kari Wicker (Robert) of Greenville, Mississippi, Kristin Wood (Tim) of Cheyanne, Wyoming, Jamie Wilmeth of Searcy, Arkansas, and Lindsay Hunt of Salem, Arkansas. Surviving nephews are Jeff Stroud (Daralee) of Mountain Home, Christopher Hunt of Salem, and Jesse Stroud of Pittsburg, Kansas. Special survivor is grandpup Sammy.
Bill is preceded in death by parents Roy and Thelma Stroud of Salem; his brother Bob, sister-in-law Mary Lee, nephew Randy, and niece Leigh Anne Stroud; and brothers-in-law Danny Burleson and Tommy Hunt. He is also preceded in death by grandpup Chesney.
