Wayne Earl Hice

Wayne Earl Hice, 50, of Salem, Arkansas passed from this life Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Salem, Arkansas. Wayne was born May 18, 1971, in Osceola, Arkansas to Marion Lester Hice and Carlene Lou (Bunch) Hice.

Wayne was united in marriage to Betty Jo Sanders on March 16, 2001, in Hensley, Arkansas. Wayne worked as a mechanic. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Wayne leaves to mourn his passing, wife, Betty Jo Hice of Salem, Arkansas; four daughters, Brina Pettit of Salem, Arkansas, Lacey Sanders (Matthew Sewell) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Brittney Hice of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Amber Kelly of Texas; twelve grandchildren; parents, Carlene Hice and John Bonee of Drasco, Arkansas; brother, Marion Lee Hice (Tina) of Conway, Arkansas; three sisters, Carla Ann Eddy of Hazen, Arkansas, Francis Hice of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Glenda Sue Hice of Osseo, Wisconsin; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father (Marion Hice) and mother-in-law (Ethel Sanders).

Family gathering will be 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Friday, April 29, 2022, at the Salem City Park in Salem, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
