Vickie Irene (Beard) Holloway

Vickie Irene (Beard) Holloway, 64, of Salem, Arkansas passed away from this life on Monday, September 30, 2024, at Salem, Arkansas. Vickie was born on April 7, 1960, in Trumann, Arkansas to Simon Fred Beard and Nina Maxine (Nash) Beard. 

Vickie last worked as the Produce Manager at Town and Country grocery store in Salem, Arkansas. Vickie loved her family and spending time with them. Vickie enjoyed basket weaving, crocheting, and collecting knickknacks. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, friend, and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Salem, Arkansas. 

Vickie leaves to mourn her passing two daughters, Rebecca Arzola of Paragould, Arkansas and Robin Lee Holloway of Paragould, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Steven Griffin, Brooke Griffin, Lathanual Britt, Rebecca Britt, Mercedes Britt, Cinnamon Britt, Zephaniah Britt, and Evangelina Warren; one great grandchild, Nelson Mahan; two brothers, Darrell Beard (Cindy) of Batesville, Arkansas and Billy Beard (Debbie) of Saffel, Arkansas; sister, Kathy Lunn (Sunny) of Salem, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister (Linda Jared), and three brothers (Harold Gene Beard, Howard Dewayne Beard and Freddy Douglas Beard). 

Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM Friday, October 4, 2024, at Blue Springs Cemetery in Newark, Arkansas with Bro. Josh Smithee officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-7:00 PM on Thursday October 3, 2024, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. The interment will be in the Blue Springs Cemetery in Newark, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be William Lunn, LaTisha Smithee, Josh Smithee, Steven Griffin, David Worsham, James Harvey Beard, and Wayne Beard. Memorials may be made to the Assembly of God church in Salem, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
