Tamara S. Campbell

Tamara S. Campbell, 62, of Viola, Arkansas, passed from this life on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Mountain Home, Arkansas. Tamara was born July 12, 1962, to John Tony Huddleston and Wilma Faye (Graham) Huddleston in Granite City, Illinois. 

Tamara was united in marriage to Merle A. Campbell on May 17, 1980, in Viola, Arkansas and to this union two children were born. Tamara graduated from Arkansas State University with an associate degree and then obtained her bachelor's degree from Liberty University. She spent her working years as a Drug and Rehab Counselor and very much enjoyed her job. She was a first-generation graduate in college and passed this on to her children as education was very important to her. She was very intelligent and was the author of two children's books. She was very protective of family and called her grandchildren “Her Sunshine Tribe”. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, and was of the Baptist faith. 

Tamara leaves to mourn her passing husband, Merle Campbell of Viola, Arkansas; son, Jake Campbell (Andrea) of Viola, Arkansas; daughter, Jenna Robbins (Bradley) of Viola, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Madison Campbell, Rhett Robbins, Case Campbell, and Lane Campbell; two brothers, Jerry Huddleston (Carrie) of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Brian Huddleston of Mountain Home, Arkansas; sister, Lisa Grayham (Robert) of Viola, Arkansas; many step brothers and sisters; father and mother in law, Lee and Helen Campbell of Viola, Arkansas; special family, Nick and Shirley Esparza and family and Grant and Bobbie Townsend and family; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents (John and Wilma Huddleston) and brother-in-law (Charles Campbell and wife Judy). 

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Barker Funeral Home with Bro. Ken Graham officiating. Interment will be Thursday, December 26, 2024, at the Mt. Calm Cemetery in Viola, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Rhett Robbins, Brian Huddleston, Bradley Robbins, Robert Grayham, Jerry Huddleston, and Josh Huddleston. Honorary pallbearers are Eric Grayham, Alex Grayham, and Austin Grayham. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
