Samuel Tollie Cochran

Samuel “Sam” Tollie Cochran, 80, of Salem, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, November 14, 2020 in Salem, Arkansas.  Sam was born January 4, 1940 to Ralph Leland Cochran and Emma Glenn (Humphries) Cochran in Union, Arkansas.

Sam spent his working years doing refrigeration and appliance repair.  Sam loved to hunt, fish and was a member of the Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas.  Sam was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.

Sam leaves to mourn his passing, two sons, David Cochran and wife Sheila of Salem, Arkansas and James Cochran of Salem, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Ashley Eaton and husband James, Amber Tierney and husband Justin, Brennan Cochran and wife Tiffany, Kolette Cochran, Kandie Walker and husband Ryan and Rayleen Cochran; fourteen great grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Atkinson of Leachville, Arkansas;  many other relatives and friends.  Sam is preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law (Ben Atkinson) and nephew (Adam Atkinson).

Graveside services will be Tuesday, 11:00 AM, November 17, 2020 at Union Cemetery in Union, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating.  Interment will be in the Union Cemetery in Union, Arkansas.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Union Cemetery Association.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
