Roxanne “Rosie” Case, entered into rest on December 10, 2024, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Rosie was born on February 8,1944 to Michael Infranca and Josephine Capanetto Infranca in Kansas City Missouri. Rosie was married to Glinn Case on May 20, 1997, in Lenora City, Tennessee.
Rosie had many jobs in her 80 years. In high school she worked for her dad's package store in Kansas City. When moving to Thayer she worked at State Farm Insurance, Nettie's Cafeteria, and Montgomery Ward. She really enjoyed cooking and finally had the means to open her own restaurant. Her first restaurant was called the Chestnut Inn. Rosie worked morning, noon, and night for 5 years. She closed the business and moved to Memphis, TN. She spent 3 years in Memphis managing Gridley’s Barbecue. She missed her family and decided to come home. Upon her return to Thayer, Rosie held a few more jobs, but it led her back to opening another restaurant called Rosie’s Place. The local’s favorite was her taco salads. The Chestnut Inn and Rosie’s Place were both located in downtown Thayer. When she operated her own business, she cherished the moments she got to work beside Anna Jean and Lyndy. She worked hard and developed many friendships in the restaurant business. Rosie really enjoyed serving the people in her community.
Rosie was mostly known as a fabulous cook. Also known as Steve, Stacy, Anna Jean, and Lyndy’s beautiful mother. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and working. Bossing Glinn, feeding the stray cats, feeding the birds and feeding the varmints was part of her daily routine. She was born to cook and take care of anyone or any animal that needed a hot meal. Most would agree that she was an amazing cook. She was a dear friend and the glue that kept this large, happy, wild family together. Her kids consider her the GOAT of all moms. Her grandkids know she was the Queen of all grandma’s. She had a special place in her heart for her family and you better not miss a family get together or you’re going to be in trouble. She enjoyed watching all of her kids and grandkids activities whether it be a ball game, building a house, a dance recital, a rodeo, or watching her grandsons play music. She was always down to go on a float trip or to the lake. She didn’t want to miss a thing. At 80 years old and not being able to swim you could find her on a Lily Pad in the middle of the lake Norfork because her great granddaughter Stevie wanted her to swim and play. That’s who she was. She was never too tired or never too old. She was always ready to go! Her greatest gift was love; she loved everybody. There was always enough of her to go around. Her smile and loving heart will be truly missed.
