Robert Clarence Olsen

Robert Clarence Olsen, 63, of Viola, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, January 28, 2022, in Viola, Arkansas. Robert was born on March 10, 1958, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, son of Clarence Gabriel Olsen and Helena Theresa (Mohar) Olsen.

Robert was united in marriage to Jennifer Annette Jacobs on June 24, 2000, in Viola, Arkansas. He worked as a gunsmith and machinist. He loved to go caving and hunting. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, friend, and was a member of the New Viola Lodge #741.

He is survived by his three daughters, Sarah Jean Guyer of Viola, Arkansas, Ashley Nicole Smith of Viola, Arkansas, and Megan Alysia Olsen of Viola, Arkansas; two stepdaughters, Karen Elizabeth Painter and husband Kevin of West Plains, Missouri and Erika Darnell Cunningham and husband Chase of West Plains, Missouri; mother, Helena Olsen of Viola, Arkansas; fifteen grandchildren; sister, Norma Helena Tumlin and husband Clifton of Gravette, Arkansas; many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Olsen.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 31, 2022, at the Viola United Methodist Church in Viola, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home LLC of Salem, Arkansas.
