Richard "Kink" Carl Griffin

Richard “Kink” Carl Griffin, 69, of Lanton, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Lanton, Missouri. Richard was born on February 3, 1955, in Ridgedale, Missouri, to Max Montana Griffin and Erma Dean (Jones) Griffin. 

Richard spent his working years as a heavy equipment operator doing construction. He loved his family, was a loving father, and was called “Papa Chickens”. He loved fishing, hunting, being outdoors, and rock and roll music. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend and was of the Baptist faith. 

Richard leaves behind his daughter, Heather Griffin of Lanton, Missouri; three grandchildren, Adisyn Silva, Cruz Giambrone, and Mahlia Giambrone; two great grandchildren, Soren Free and Ottleigh Free; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents (Max and Erma Griffin), two brothers (Michael Griffin and Steven “Hoover" Griffin), and sister (Teresa Theimer). 

No services will be held at this time, but a Celebration of Life will be held later. Memorials may be made to the Stateline Cemetery Association. Arrangements are entrusted to Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
