Randy Thornton Walker

Randy Thornton Walker, 61, of Salem, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, September 4, 2021, in Salem, Arkansas. Randy was born May 10, 1960, to George Thornton Walker and Myrna Eileen (Hines) Walker in Salem, Arkansas.

Randy spent many years working in the orchards in Washington as a forklift operator. Randy loved spending time with his family, hunting, and fishing. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.

Randy leaves to mourn his passing daughter, Alisa Crider  of Kerrville, Texas; two grandchildren, Cameron Herndon of Kerrville, Texas and Christopher Herndon of Kerrville, Texas; four sisters, Cheryl Watkins of Woodlawn, Arkansas, Janelle Wray and husband Dwayne of Union, Arkansas, Linda Moore and husband Vernon of Berryville, Arkansas, Lorna Lee and husband Tim of Imboden, Arkansas; brother-in-law, Roger Woods of Calico Rock, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister (Shona Woods), three brothers-in-law, Steve Watkins, David Hatman, and Charles Valentine.

Memorial services will be 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Old Main in Salem, Arkansas with Lorna Lee officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until time of service of Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Old Main in Salem, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes or American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home, LLC in Salem, Arkansas.
