Phillip Hayes Scott

Phillip Hayes Scott, 72, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away on December 24, 2024, in Ash Flat, Arkansas. Phillip was born October 8, 1952, in Memphis, Tennessee to Floyd Devoe Scott and Freda Mary (Holloway) Scott.

Phillip spent his working years as a carpenter and was of the Methodist faith. Phillip was a kind soul and loved his family and would do anything for them. Phillip was a talented artist and musician and especially loved playing the guitar. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend.

Phillip is survived by six daughters, Tina Scott, Carrie Tipton (David), Misti Cornelious, Kassie Stender (William), Tammy McGuire, and Tonya Williams (Jason); twenty-four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brother, Floyd Scott (Marsha); two nieces, Robin Eastep (Tony) and Kimberly Hayden (Chase); and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents (Floyd and Freda Scott) and a grandson (Devon Tipton)
