Patsy Jean (Sutherland) Crouch

Patsy Jean (Sutherland) Crouch, 90, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away from this life on November 27, 2023, in Salem, Arkansas. Patsy was born August 2, 1933, in Camp, Arkansas to William “Buck” Kelsey Sutherland and Norma C. (Maguffee) Sutherland. 
 
Patsy was united in marriage to Thurman Dorwood Crouch on July 5, 1951, at Wheeling, Arkansas. Patsy worked for twenty-one years at the C & C Restaurant in Salem, Arkansas as well as helping her husband on the family farm.  Patsy loved her family, crocheting, mowing the yard, her flowers and gardening, cooking, and inspired people with her kindness. Patsy was a member of the Wheeling Church of Christ in Wheeling, Arkansas. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt, and friend. 
 
Patsy is survived by her daughter, Patti Wallace of Salem, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Calli Jean Schmidt (Rob) of Jacksonville, Florida, Katie Lafferty of Bentonville, Arkansas, Heath Rhodes (Kelly) of West Plains, Missouri, Keith Rhodes (Brenda) of Prescott, Arizona, and Carolyn Wallace of Bentonville, Arkansas; eleven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; sister, Jo Mathis of Searcy, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband (Thurman Dorwood Crouch), daughter (Vicki Rhodes), parents (Buck and Norma Sutherland), and sister (Mary Scribner). 
 
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, December 1, 2023, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Heath Rhodes and Keith Rhodes officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until time of service on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Barker Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Harmony Cemetery in Wheeling, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Heath Rhodes, Keith Rhodes, Alex Rhodes, Keith Gray, JJ Gray, and Riley Gray. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Scribner, Jason Lafferty, and Dr. David Kauffman. Memorials may be made to Harmony Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
