Opal Lorine Elliott

Opal Lorine Elliott, 81, of Salem, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, March 17, 2023, in Salem, Arkansas. Lorine was born April 11, 1941, to Presley Wilcer Henslee and Vada Louise (Potter) Henslee in Colcord, Oklahoma.

Lorine was united in marriage to Troy Louis Elliott on September 6, 2000, in Salem, Arkansas. Lorine spent her working years as a caregiver and was a member of the Saddle Baptist Church in Saddle, Arkansas.  Lorine was a wonderful fun-loving person with a big spirit and enjoyed living life to the fullest.  Lorine loved all her family and having family gatherings.  Lorine loved going to the casinos and playing the slot machines.  She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Lorine leaves to mourn her passing; three sons, Dennie Burch (Becky) of Calico Rock, Arkansas, Jeff Burch (Yvonne) of Viola, Arkansas, and Darren Burch of Ash Flat, Arkansas; two daughters, Joetha Broyles of Salem, Arkansas and Debby Beard (Billy) of Saffell, Arkansas; four sisters, Ebb Glisson of Glencoe, Arkansas, Kathleen Jones (Doug) of Saddle, Arkansas, Phyllis Owens (Gordon) of Oxford, Arkansas and Darlene Neiderbrach of Salem, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; dear friend and sister at heart, Sandy Mccoy of Dearborn, Michigan; many other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her husband, son (Jerry Burch), parents, two great grandsons, five sisters, and four brothers.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Monday, March 20, 2023, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Interment will be Tuesday, March 21, 2023, in the Fairview Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Nathan Burch, Dustin Burch, Justin Burch, Brennon Burch, Rylan Burch, and Caden Burch. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Nelson and Vernon Moore.  Memorials may be made to Barker Funeral Home to help with expenses.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home, LLC in Salem, Arkansas.
