Oneta (Rosier) Oliver, 91, departed this life on February 11, 2022, at Salem, Arkansas. Oneta was born in Salem, Arkansas on October 6, 1930, to James Olen Rosier and Jodie Lou (Ozbirn) Rosier.
Oneta was united in marriage to Frank W. Oliver on May 29, 1948, in Viola, Arkansas and to this union two sons were born. Oneta spent her years working as a secretary with the Department of Human Services in Salem, Arkansas. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, friend, and was a member of the Viola First Baptist Church in Viola, Arkansas.
Oneta leaves to mourn her passing; son, Eddy Oliver (Jeanie) of Salem, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Judy Oliver of Salem, Arkansas; four grandsons, Casey Oliver (Niki Ivy) of Salem, Arkansas, Jason Oliver (Megon) of Russellville, Arkansas, Sach Oliver (Codi) of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Jake Oliver (Jacob M. Bauman) of Brooklyn, New York; seven great grandchildren, Mallory and Wesley Oliver of Salem, Arkansas, Bennett, Luke, and Nate Oliver of Russellville, Arkansas, and Reesa and Reagan Oliver of Bentonville, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband (Frank W. Oliver), son (Mickey Oliver), parents, brother (D.B. Rosier), and four sisters (Anna Mae Hampton, Pauline Wood, Mary Lou Brison, and Lilla Mae Reasons).
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday, February 14, 2022, at Flint Springs Cemetery in Viola, Arkansas with Bro. Larry Ring officiating. Pallbearers are Casey Oliver, Jason Oliver, Sach Oliver, and Jake Oliver. Memorials may be made to the Flint Springs Cemetery Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home LLC of Salem, Arkansas.
