Myrtle Madline Kinder

Myrtle Madline (Smith) Kinder, 85, of Bella Vista, Arkansas departed this life on November 13, 2019 in Rogers, Arkansas. Myrtle was born to the late Luther D. Smith and Bethel Elizabeth (Tidwell) Smith on June 12, 1934 in Protem, Missouri.

Myrtle was united into marriage to Darvis Neal Kinder on February 18, 1983 in Salem, Arkansas. Myrtle spent her working years as an office manager and was a member of the Salem First Baptist Church. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend.

She leaves to mourn her passing; daughter, Darla Eleni Achterberg of Bella Vista, Arkansas; three brothers, Ray Smith and wife Deborah, Everett Smith and wife Carmen, and Bruce Smith and wife Cecelia; three sisters, Sharon Allen, Darlene Hudson and husband Bud, and Carol Perkins; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, son (Scooter Achterberg), parents, two brothers (Vernon Smith and Jim Smith), and two sisters (Mildred Davis and Dorothy Smith).

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until time of service on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the Salem First Baptist Church.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
