Marvin Segraves

Marvin Segraves, age 93, of Viola, Arkansas was born on March 27, 1924 in Pocahontas, Arkansas, son of Joe and Thelma (Broadway) Segraves. He departed this life on December 10, 2017 in West Plains, Missouri.

Marvin was member of the American Legion and Trenton – Wyandotte Masonic Lodge #8. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.

He leaves to mourn his passing; son, Bobby Segraves and wife Debbie of Gladwin, Michigan; three daughters, Diane Pietrowski and husband Dennis of Taylor, Michigan, Jill Stewart and husband Eugene of Allen Park, Michigan and Judy Bopp and husband Bill of Clarkston, Michigan ; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son (Mark Segraves), parents, brother and two brothers (Sylvester and Leroy).

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Calm Cemetery in Viola, Arkansas. Visitation will be 9:00 A.M. until time of service on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Barker Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
