Martha Sue (York) Rouse

Martha Sue (York) Rouse, 81, of Salem, Arkansas, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Salem, Arkansas. Martha was born September 1, 1943, to Marion Lee York and Dovie Leona (Smith) York in Georgetown, Arkansas.

Martha married Claude Author Rouse, Sr. at Bald Knob, Arkansas. Martha spent many years as a homemaker and later on in life as a business owner. Martha was actively involved in her faith and loved to fish. Martha loved spending time with her family and loved her children and grandchildren. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and was a member of Jehovah’s Witness.

Martha leaves to mourn her passing son, Bruce Rouse (Debbie) of Ash Flat, Arkansas; daughter, Lori Toth of Salem, Arkansas; grandchildren, Brandon Rouse (Ashley), Alexander Rouse, Bradley Toth (Deanna), Courtney Toth (Kevin Greer), Adrienne Gamin (Sebastian), Mikel Rouse (Sidney), Charlie Yates (Lindsay), Starla Horton (Josh), Donna Thomas, Tyler Ward, Hunter Rouse, Chris Rouse (Mia), Christina Rouse, Dustin Rouse, and an abundance of great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, four daughters, three grandchildren, and her siblings.
