Margie Ann (Pickle) Lash, 88, of Salem, Arkansas departed this life on Sunday, December 2, 2018 in Salem, Arkansas. She was born to the late John Raymond Pickle and Blanche Marie (McDowell) Pickle on March 29, 1930 in Vincennes, Indiana.
Margie worked at the Tri County Shirt Company and also worked as a nurse’s aide at the Fulton County Hospital of Salem, NEA Baptist Hospital of Jonesboro and the Cottonwood Manor at Jonesboro. Margie was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and attended The Church of God of Pocahontas, Arkansas.
Margie leaves to mourn her passing ; five sons, Robert Lash and wife Becky of Viola, Arkansas, Danny Lash of Salem, Arkansas, Dennis Lash of Sturkie, Arkansas, John Lash and wife Becky of Weaverville, North Carolina and Paul Lash and wife Marsha of Sturkie, Arkansas; daughter, Shirley Honeycutt and husband John of Pocahontas, Arkansas; fifteen grandchildren, Amy Roark and husband Chris, Anita Rodgers and husband James, J.J. Honeycutt and wife Brooke, Sarah Williams and husband David, Rachel Luther and husband Justin, Elizabeth Lash, Seth Lash, Ashley Lash, Brandon Tharp, Cody Lash, Cheyanne Lash, Caitlin Lash, Jennifer Stegner and husband Jason, Josh Neal and Samantha Jo Lopez; eighteen great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sons (Sammie Lee Romine and Scottie McDowell), granddaughter (Emily Nicole Lash) and special uncle and aunt (William “Bill” and Alta McDowell).
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Rev. Dewayne Smith officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Interment will be in the Salem Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Seth Lash, Justin Luther, James Foster, Brylan Honeycutt, Cade Roark, Cody Lash, David Williams, Michael Kleen, Chris Roark, Tucker Luther, J.J. Honeycutt, Brayden Honeycutt, Brennon Honeycutt and James Rodgers. Memorials may be made to the Salem Cemetery Association or to the Hospice of North Arkansas.
