Lynn Cheryl (Horton) Johnson, 57, of Agnos, Arkansas, passed from this life on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Lynn was born to Jimmie Dean Horton and Billie Sue (Manry) Horton on September 14, 1966, in Salem, Arkansas.
Lynn spent many years working as an aide at Highland schools and the Lutheran school in Cherokee Village until bad health disabled her. Lynn was a member of the Agnos Church of Christ in Agnos, Arkansas. Lynn has transitioned to a quiet and peaceful place free of pain. Our weeping is for those of us she left behind that will miss her so much. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
Lynn leaves to mourn her passing, son, Jimi Johnson of Agnos, Arkansas; twin granddaughters, Jolene and Joann Johnson of Agnos, Arkansas; parents, Jim and Billie Sue Horton of Agnos, Arkansas; sister, Linda Scott of Leachville, Arkansas; two brothers, Larry Horton of Conway, Arkansas and Lee Horton and wife Leila of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister (Lisa Gail Horton).
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Agnos Church of Christ in Agnos, Arkansas with Bro. Farrell Nicholson and Dale Godwin officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until the time of the service February 21, 2024, at the Agnos Church of Christ. The interment will be in the Manry Cemetery in Agnos, Arkansas. The pallbearers will be Martin Estes, Dean Abney, James Abney, Tim Abney, Scott Roberts, and Gary Tyner. Memorials may be made to Paragould Children’s Home in Paragould, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
