Linda Carol Hancock

Linda Carol Hancock, 78, of Flippin, Arkansas, entered into rest on Saturday December 28, 2024, in Salem, Arkansas. Linda entered into life on October 19, 1947, in Mountain Home, Arkansas to Wilburn Keith McCracken and Inez Lavern (Crownover) McCracken. 

Linda was united in marriage to Buford Billy Mark Hancock on May 17, 1968. Linda spent her working years as a convenience store manager. Linda loved her family and enjoyed spending her time from work sewing, reading, or gardening. She also enjoyed going on cruises. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and sister. Linda was a member of the Whiteville Baptist Church. 

Linda is survived by three sons, Keith Hancock (Elizabeth McQuay) of Melbourne, Arkansas, Kelly Hancock (Chelsie), of Flippin, Arkansas, and Billy Joe Hancock(Sherry) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one daughter, Annette Jackson of Eastview, Tennessee; eleven grandchildren, Cooper (Adrianna), Lanie, Mark (Mallory), Chevi, Chevelle, Fischer, Cato, Sophie, Mandy, Amber, and Kathy; one great grandson, Baker Buford Hancock; two sisters Brenda Medley of Gassville, Arkansas, and Carla Hopper of Clarkridge, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother (Michael Keith McCracken). 

Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M.  Saturday January 4, 2025, at the Salem Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to the Whiteville Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
