Larry Donald Smith

Larry Donald Gene Smith “Cow Runner”, 77, of Camp, Arkansas, passed away from this life on December 8, 2023, in Camp, Arkansas. Larry was born September 3, 1946, in Sturkie, Arkansas to Archie Earl Smith and Margarete Fern (Isenhower) Smith. 
 
Larry was united in marriage to Patricia Kay Cunningham on August 25, 1979, at Kingman, Kansas. Larry spent his working years as an assembler at Baxter Lab. He loved his family dearly and was a member of the Salem First Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, horses, and camping at the Norfork Lake. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. 
 
Larry is survived by his wife, Patricia “Trish” Smith of the home, three sons, Christopher Timothy Smith of Thayer, Missouri, Doug Smith and wife Debbie of Viola, Arkansas, and Allen Smith and wife Jennifer of Viola, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister (Nadine Cindrich) and brother (Galen Ira Dee Smith).  
 
No services are scheduled at this time. Memorials may be made to the Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
