John G. Casper

John Casper, 64, of Salem, Arkansas passed away Friday, October 13, 2023, at Salem, Arkansas. John was born June 4, 1959, to Don Casper and Eileen (Kahl) Casper in Auburn, New York. 
    
John married Thomma Simpson in 1990 in Genoa, New York. John graduated from Auburn High School in Auburn, New York, served his country in the United States Marine Corps, and was a truckdriver for many years.  John loved fishing on the White River, watching for eagles, traveling, working outside, and was of the Catholic faith.  He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend. 
  
John leaves to mourn his passing: wife, Thomma Casper of Salem, Arkansas; son, Brock Mann and wife Vicki of Dover, Ohio; three daughters, Susie Carano and husband Frank of The Plains, Ohio, Tami Daniel and husband Joe of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Bobbi Mann of Bismark, North Dakota; two grandchildren, Garrett Daniel and wife Lacey of Lawton, Oklahoma and Conner Daniel and wife Taylor of Geronimo, Oklahoma; three great grandchildren, Bryson Mann, Tuff Daniel, and Ripp Daniel; brother, Joe Casper and wife Terry of Salem, Arkansas; sister, Cathy Bushnell and husband David of Auburn, New York; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents (Don and Eileen Casper), mother-in-law (Evelyn Waite), and two grandsons (Caleb Mann and Raymond Daniel). 
  
A celebration of life will be at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the Byron Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Byron, Arkansas with Bro. Josh Pardue officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
