Jimmy Leroy Traw,60, of Viola, Arkansas, passed from this life on Sunday, February 25, 2024. Jimmy was born to Roy and Alice Louise (Bates) Traw on January 21, 1964, in Willow Spring, Missouri.
Jimmy worked as a clerk for the White Oak Station in Salem, Arkansas and delivered mail part time for the United States Postal Service. Jimmy lived a very simple life and loved to spend his time with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan even when they were at their worst. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Jimmy leaves to mourn his passing, two sons, Cody Traw of Camp, Arkansas and Dalton Lund of Viola, Arkansas; four daughters, Whitney Shrable of Gepp, Arkansas, Lauren Traw of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Dallas Behe of Franklin, Arkansas, and Mackenzie Etheridge of Viola, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Waylon, Mia, Drew, Hoyt, Jayden, Celeste, and Henley; wife, Dayna Traw of Viola, Arkansas; two sisters, Janet Cunningham of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, and Tamela Keeney of Alton, Missouri; brother, Jacky Traw of Willow Springs, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Treda Traw of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter (Lexi Traw), parents (Roy and Alice Traw), sister (Debra Pingleton), and brother (Nicky Traw).
Memorial services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Memorials may be given to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
