Jessie Mildred Tyler, 97, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Salem, Arkansas. Mildred was born on October 28, 1927, to Harve Floyd and Sarah (Smith) Floyd in Salem, Arkansas.
Mildred was united in marriage to Grover Warren “G.W.” Tyler on January 1, 1948, in Borger, Texas. Mildred spent her working years as a homemaker and was a faithful member of the Salem Assembly of God Church in Salem, Arkansas. Mildred was dearly loved by her family and always had a smile on her face. Mildred and her husband moved to Salem, which she always considered her home, after retirement in Borger, Texas. Mildred was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend.
Mildred leaves to mourn her passing; son, Randy W. Tyler of Salem, Arkansas; daughter, Gina Mackey (David) of Fritch, Texas; two grandchildren, Luke Mackey of Amarillo, Texas and Joshua Mackey of Buffalo, Oklahoma; four great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Mildred was proceeded in death by her husband (G.W. Tyler), parents (Harve and Sarah Floyd), grandson (Kennen Mackey), six brothers, and three sisters.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Salem Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Tyler Fox officiating. Memorials may be made to Salem Assembly of God Church in Salem, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
