Jerry Lynn Thrasher, 72, of Camp, Arkansas, was born on July 20, 1949, in Camp, Arkansas son of Clovis Watson Thrasher and Veda Vinetta (Lawyer) Thrasher. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, in Camp, Arkansas.
Jerry was united in marriage to Victoria Lynn Taylor on January 21, 2001, in Viola, Arkansas. Jerry worked as a truck driver, EMTI at the Fulton County Hospital, and served thirteen years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He loved to play music, ride his motorcycle, and was “Everybody’s Hero”. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend, and was of the Christian Faith.
He leaves to mourn his passing, wife, Victoria Taylor of Camp, Arkansas; four sons, Michael Thrasher of Ft. Stewart, Georgia, Jerry Thrasher (Karen) of Edgerton, Wisconsin, Tomy Thrasher (Stephanie) of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and Clovis Thrasher (Samantha) of Ash Flat, Arkansas; two daughters, Amber Brawley (Angelo) of Wirth, Arkansas and Lienda Murphy of Camp, Arkansas; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother (Donnie Thrasher), grandson (Connor Thrasher), and son (Robert Barker).
Memorial services will be 6:00 P.M. Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the Tyler Residence, 2105 Coyote Road, Mammoth Spring, Arkansas 72554. Balloons will be posted at every turn off. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home LLC of Salem, Arkansas.
