Jennifer Esta Lee Steward, 37, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas departed this life on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. She was born to Jesse Lee Steward, Jr. and Sharon Georgene Lackey on October 13, 1981 in Kansas City, Missouri. Jennifer had three boys that were her life. Jennifer loved listening to music and working in her garden with her flowers. Jennifer enjoyed cooking, outdoors, camping and fishing. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, friend and was a member of the Salem First Baptist Church in Salem. Jennifer leaves to mourn her passing; three sons, Ashton Chastain of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, Alec Chastain of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas and Abyl Steward of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; mother, Sharon Smith and husband Zane of Salem, Arkansas; father, Jesse Steward of Sturkie, Arkansas; brother, Jesse Steward, III and wife Julia of Salem, Arkansas; grandmothers, Esta Lee Lackey of Kansas City, Missouri and Jessie Mae Steward of Merriam, Kansas; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Billy Ray Lackey and Jesse Lee Steward. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 11, 2019 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Joshua Smithee officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until time of service on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Barker Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Stateline Cemetery in Moko, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Jason Willett, Chad Willett, Joe Benedict, Walter Nelson, Jeremy Roberts and Ken Schaufler. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
