Inez Estes Hupaylo

Inez Estes Hupaylo, 95, of Glencoe, Arkansas passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023, at Glencoe, Arkansas.  Inez was born September 28, 1927, in Agnos, Arkansas to Hugh Kinnel “H.K.” Estes and Sarah Elizabeth “Bessie” (Gilbreath) Estes.  

Inez married Eldon Earl Horton and to this marriage two children were born and later married Walter Hupaylo and to this marriage a daughter was born.  Inez spent many years doing bookkeeping and accounting and later worked as a CNA with Southfork Nursing Home in Salem, Arkansas.  Inez loved quilting, gardening, visiting with friends and relatives, and was a member of the Agnos Church of Christ in Agnos, Arkansas.  She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt, and friend.  

Inez leaves to mourn her passing, two daughters, Linda (Horton) Cooper of Salem, Arkansas and Deva Antoinete Hupaylo of Glencoe, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Donald Cooper (Paige), Treva Horwitz (Jeff), Matthew Honea (Kate), Christopher Honea (Brandi), and James Ian Honea (Julianna); eight great grandchildren, Crystal Moody (John), Joey Cooper (Christina), Jesse Cooper, Aiden Horwitz, Angelica Honea, Norah Honea, Ryan Honea, and Amelia Honea; five great great grandchildren, Dylan Dunavant, Kaylee Cooper, Jayden Cooper, Kimber Moody, and River Cooper; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by both husbands (Walter Hupaylo and Eldon Horton), son (Keith Dale Horton), son-in-law (Johnny Cooper), great great granddaughter (Shelby Cheyenne Cooper), three brothers (infant, John Calvin, and Waymon Dale), and one sister (Mary Clarine Coggin). 

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Agnos Church of Christ in Agnos, Arkansas with Dale Godwin officiating.  Visitation will be 1-2 PM, Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at the church.  Interment will be in the Agnos Cemetery in Agnos, Arkansas.  Pallbearers will be Deva Hupaylo, Tim Abney, Gary Tyner, James Abney, Christopher Honea, and Dean Abney. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Hall, Jeff Horwitz, Nick Busby, and Dale Godwin.  Memorials may be made to Children’s Homes Inc. in Paragould, Arkansas or to the Agnos Cemetery Association.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home, LLC in Salem, Arkansas.
