Glenn Edward Brown, 91, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, August 16, 2021 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Glenn was born February 28, 1930 to William Edward Brown and Mary Izora (Estes) Brown in Agnos, Arkansas.
Glenn spent his working years as a carpenter, truck driver, and antiques dealer, but his greatest love was antiques. Glenn loved his family and was known as a giver. Glenn was of the Baptist faith and served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.
Glenn leaves to mourn his passing, four brothers, Bill Brown and wife Sue of Beebe, Arkansas, Norman Brown and wife Barbara of Greenbriar, Arkansas, Anthony Brown and wife Sharilu of Centerton, Arkansas, and Larry Brown and wife Donna of Salem, Arkansas; five sisters, Lola Brown of Camino, California, Ima Lou Moss of Oxford, Arkansas, Johniece Merwin of Arvada, Colorado, Sharon Watson of Melbourne, Arkansas, and Linda Hutchins of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; brother-in-law, V. C. Yancey of Steelville, Missouri; sister-in-law, Ruby Brown of Little Rock, Arkansas; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother (Drexal Brown), sister (Jo Ann Yancey), and three brothers-in-law (Herbert Moss, Lee Campbell Watson, and Bill Merwin).
The family will have a private gathering at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Bates Cemetery or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home LLC of Salem, Arkansas.
