Evan Thomas Bowers

Evan Thomas Bowers, 31, of Cordova, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at North Little Rock, Arkansas.  Evan was born April 18, 1990, at Jonesboro, Arkansas and grew up in Winchester, Virginia.

Evan spent his working years as a carpenter and enjoyed woodworking.  Evan loved the outdoors, fishing, and his family.  Evan had a contagious smile and enjoyed making other people smile.  Evan had many demons and struggles in life but always wanted to help others.  Evan was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, friend, and was of the Christian faith.

Evan leaves to mourn his passing, son, Valdimar Bowers of Reykjavik, Iceland; parents, Kathryn Fraley and husband Jason of Cordova, Tennessee and Todd Bowers and wife Tara of Stephens City, Virginia; four sisters, Britney Folk and husband Sean of Memphis, Tennessee, Sarita Niewirowicz and husband Anthony of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Emily Bowers of Memphis, Tennessee, and Madison Bowers of Stephens City, Virginia; three nieces and nephews, Ava, Alice, and Aiden; grandparents, Rita Wood of Agnos, Arkansas and Larry Bowers and wife Linda of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia; many other relatives and friends.    

Private family services will be held later.  Memorials may be made to the Care Center Ministries of Mountain Home, 734 Thorn Street, Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
