William Ethan Hatfield, 40, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas departed this life on July 25, 2020 at Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. Ethan was born on March 22, 1980 to William Earl Hatfield and Sharon Louise (Hopper) Hatfield in Salem, Arkansas.
Ethan had a natural talent for mechanicing, loved to hunt and fish, and attended the Light in the Wilderness Assembly of God Church. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, father, and friend. His daughter, Ashton, was his whole world and he loved her dearly.
Ethan is survived by his daughter, Ashton Makenzie Simpson and her mother Brandi Simpson of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; mother, Sharon Hatfield (Alen Wilson) of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; grandmother, Gloria Graetz of Thayer, Missouri; four sisters, Gloria Goodman (Bailey, Bruce and Brent) of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, Carrie Andrews (Charles Kendrick) of Hardy, Arkansas, Brande Hall (Curtis) (Kayly and Kylie) of Heart, Arkansas and Amber Gilpatrick (Lexie, Schyler and Micah) of Batesville, Arkansas; special friends, Matt Huff, Clay Ellison, Eric Holmes, Andrea Chaffin, the Crowe family, the Chaffin family; many other relatives and friends. Ethan was preceded in death by his father (William Earl Hatfield), grandparents (William Roy and Ova Lena Hatfield, Calvin E. Hopper, and Edward Graetz), and brother-in-law Johnny Gilpatrick.
Memorial services will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Stan Jones officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. until time of service on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Barker Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to American Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Arrangements are entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
