Elzeta June Geans
(June) Jun 16, 1941 - Jun 5, 2020
A memorial service to honor the life of Elzeta June Geans will be held at a later date at Camp Cemetery, with Brother John Hodges Officiating. June was born in Corning, Arkansas on June 16, 1941 to the Late William Earl and Evelyn Kaye Geans and departed this life on June 5, 2020, in St. Louis, Mo., after a lengthy illness. June was a force to be reckoned with, though only 5’1”, she was a presence in the room. She was spunky and spirited and never let anything get her down. June worked at Briar Bro’s., in St. Louis, Mo. where she made safety equipment for police officers. After relocating to Camp, Ark, June worked for several years at Tri-County Shirt Factory where she earned many awards including Employee of the month. A gypsy at heart, June moved a lot, to include Texas, Oklahoma, and California, where she met the love of her life, her late husband, Chris Bradley, whom she lost after nearly 20 years of marriage. June’s generous nature was apparent as she always gave her all to those she loved. She always had a smile on her face, and would not hesitate to give her last dime if someone was in need. Her love and kindness will be greatly missed. June was preceded in death by her parents and late husband as well as her sister, Mary Linsman, Nephew Terry Melton, Niece Cindy Ray, and great niece, Katlin Loux. June leaves to mourn her loss, her nephew, Mike Melton, Nieces, Tina Melton and Evelyn Break-Loux, and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. A very special thank you to Ashley and all the staff at Scenic Nursing Center and Hospice Care, your love and kindness are greatly appreciated. Your entire organization epitomizes the true nature of elder care, thank you so much for the patience and loving care you showed Aunt June, you are Angels. Services under the direction of Barker Funeral Home, Salem, Arkansas.
