Ella Ruth Stone, 80, of Oxford, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Salem, Arkansas. Ella was born in Lamesa, Texas on October 10, 1943, to Shelby Dalmont and Ruth (Clifton) Dalmont.
Ella worked as an accountant for Peacock Alley. Ella was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and was of the Baptist faith.
Ella is survived by her daughter, Marie Stone of Oxford, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Summer Vann and J.D. Vann; two great grandchildren;
sister, Betty Ziegler; three nephews, Mark Ziegler, Ross Ziegler, and Wade Ziegler; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter (Carol Vann) and parents (Shelby and Ruth Dalmont).
No services are scheduled currently. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
