Edgar Walter Creech, 85, of Camp, Arkansas departed from this life on February 11, 2021, at Salem, Arkansas. Edgar was born October 31, 1935 to Henry B. Creech and Pollie (Mefford) Creech at Totz, Kentucky.
Edgar was united into marriage to Norma Nadine Johnson on July 21, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois and to this union four sons were born. Edgar spent his working years as a security guard for Southwest Truck Body and often worked three jobs to make sure his family was taken care of. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly and was of the Baptist faith. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.
Edgar leaves to mourn his passing, wife, Norma Nadine Creech of Camp, Arkansas; four sons, Steven Creech and wife Beth of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Carl Creech and wife Bethany of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Larry Creech of West Plains, Missouri, and Eddy Dean Creech and wife Melissa of Indianapolis, Indiana; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Edgar is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers (Odell, Ben, Rodney, Robert, and Albert), and four sisters (Viba, Mary, Lavina and Martha).
Funeral services will be Friday, 1:00 P.M., February 19, 2021 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Interment will be in the Camp Cemetery in Camp, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Steven Creech, Eddy Dean Creech, Carl Creech, Wayne Sanders, and Larry Creech. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
