Donald Eugene Clark

Donald Eugene Clark, 84, of Sturkie, Arkansas passed away from this life on Monday, September 30, 2024, at Salem, Arkansas. Donald was born on December 15, 1939, in Rockford, Illinois to Harlow Clark and Rebecca (Trosper) Clark. 

Donald was united in marriage to Naomi Ruth Nokes on August 5, 1988, in Rockford, Illinois. Donald retired from Estwing MFG and served his country in the United States Air Force. Donald was a volunteer for the Sturkie VFD, and he attended the Salem First Baptist Church in Salem Arkansas. Donald loved his wife very much and his family was his life. He loved wood carvings and studying family history. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. 

Donald leaves to mourn his passing wife, Naomi Ruth Black-Clark of Sturkie, Arkansas; one son, Shane Black (Dawn), of Rockford, Illinois; one granddaughter, Katalin Thomas (Mayson) of Key West, Florida; two great granddaughters, Luna Rose and Ophelia Leigh of Key West, Florida; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents (Harlow and Rebecca Clark) and brother (Larry Clark). 

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, October 12th, 2024, at Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem, Arkansas with Brother Tyler Fox officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 AM until time of service on Saturday October 12th, 2024, at Barker Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Stateline Cemetery at Moko, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be John Emery, James Garrison, Brent Wood, Kandee Rainbolt, Tim Rainbolt, and Randy Tyler. Memorials may be made to the Sturkie Volunteer Fire Department of Sturkie, Arkansas or Stateline Cemetery Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
