David Wayne Bryant, age 54, of Salem, Arkansas was born on June 3, 1963 in Stuttgart, Arkansas, son of Ethar Wayne and Barbara Jean (Heavner) Bryant. He departed this life on November 23, 2017 in Batesville, Arkansas. David married Angela Bonds Gibbs on December 18, 1982 in Brinkley, Arkansas and to this union three children were born. He spent his working years as a truck driver and attended Viola Solid Rock Assembly of God Church in Viola, Arkansas. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He leaves to mourn his passing; wife, Angela Bryant of Salem, Arkansas; two sons, David W. Bryant II and wife Kristy of Oxford, Arkansas and Christopher A. Bryant of Salem, Arkansas; daughter, Laura E. Bryant of Salem, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Dayton Bryant, Autumn Bryant, Matthew Bryant and Khloe Bryant; three sisters, Debra Heston and husband Doug of Conway, Arkansas, Rebecca Anderson of Brinkley, Arkansas and Karen Harbor and husband Dave of Vilonia, Arkansas; brother in law, Jack Branham and wife Nita of Ft. Worth, Texas; four nieces, Desiree Branham Bates, Heather Anderson Bline, Dana Harbor Healy and Carmen Anderson Johnson; seven nephews, Patrick Anderson, Joshua Bowers, Jeremy Branham, Benjamin Branham, Paul Branham, Eric Harbor and Brent Heston; thirteen great nieces, Sierra Anderson, Autumn Self, Natalie Bates, Lexie Anderson, Hannah Bates, Kolbie Anderson, Alexis Heston, Faith Johnson, Makayla Branham, Layna Bline, Anabelle Healy, Abby Anderson and Elle Marie Branham; seven great nephews, Robby Bowers, Gabriel Johnson, Brayden Bates, Logan Bowers, Liam Branham, Tye Heston and Aiden Harbor; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents (William and Addie Heavner), paternal grandparents (Ethar and Doris Bryant). Services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Alan Cartwright officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until time of service on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Barker Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Viola Solid Rock Assembly of God Church.
