Darren Lee Norman, 35, of Salem, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Salem, Arkansas. Darren was born to Michael Carl Norman, Sr., and Teresa Marie (Sparks) Norman on September 26, 1984 in Salem, Arkansas.
Darren was a mechanic and would help anybody. Darren loved motorcycles, had a big heart and enjoyed making people laugh. Darren loved his family, hunting, fishing and was of the Pentecostal/Assembly of God faith. He was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, and friend.
He is survived by two sons, Braxtin Wrestler of Salem, Arkansas and McKaden Kyle Norman of Cotter, Arkansas; daughter, Camryn Guffey of Flippin, Arkansas; parents, Michael and Teresa Norman of Salem, Arkansas; brother, Michael Norman, Jr. (Rhonda) of West Plains, Missouri; sister, Crystal Marie Tomlinson (Eric) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; six nieces and nephews, Halie Norman, Allie Norman, Kelsey Norman, Laynnie Norman, Dakota Tomlinson, and Cheyenne Tomlinson; great nephew, Gannon Wright; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Monday, May 18, 2020 at the Assembly of God Church in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Josh Pardue officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Sunday, May 17, 2020 at the Assembly of God Church in Salem, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Cody Cox, Brandon Sparks, Zach West, Dakota Tomlinson, B.J. Sparks, and Mark Cox. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Norman, Sr., Michael Norman, Jr. Scott White, and Eric Tomlinson. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
Please be mindful of our social distancing guidelines. We will have hand sanitizing stations set up at all entrances and exits and with the register book. Signs will be posted as well.
