Connie Sue Pierce

Connie Sue Pierce, age 67 of Salem, Arkansas went to her forever home on October 23, 2023. She was the daughter of Loyd Thomas and Duley Carlene Powers Clark of Batesville, Arkansas where she was born.

She was proceeded in death by her first husband Larry Duane Allen till he passed away on January 14, 1997, 2 brothers Walter Everett Clark, Jerry Lynn Clark, daughter-in-law Bonnie Clark, nephew Jerry Thomas Clark.

Connie was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed reading books, and loved to read the Bible. She was a member of the VFW Axillary in Salem, Arkansas.  She also enjoyed embroidery, and spending time with her family and friends. 

She is survived by her husband Carl Pierce, 2 sons James Don Clark of Conway, Ar., Jason Dwayne Allen, wife Candice of Horseshoe Bend, Ar. 4 daughters Starla Gail Brown husband Jerry of Salem, Ar. Cissy Crowe od Rosebud, Ar. Diana Reed husband Daniel of Pangburn. Ar. Jamie Lackey of Rose Bud Ar. 2 brothers, Larry Clark wife Linda of Illinois, Donald Clark wife Rose of Heber Springs, Ar. 2 sisters Lois McDaniel husband Wallace of Newark, Ar. Joyce Richie husband Johnie of Searcy, Ar. Grandkids, Brooklyn (Kendra) Cadena, Christian (Lexi) Clark both From Colorado, Devon Clark of Wyoming, Dallas Holmes of Batesville, Ar. Kaitlynn, and Kandyce Reed of Pangburn, Ar. Caleb , Autumn, Abby Lackey of Rose Bud, Ar. Breanna and Savannah Crowe of Rose Bud, Ar. Casen Modlin of Rose Bud, Ar. Ruby, Scarlet, Rosa Trinidad all of Horseshoe Bend, Ar.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm - 8:00pm on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Olmstead Funeral Home with funeral services following on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 11:00am with Bro. Larry Wilhite officiating.  Interment will follow in Norick Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Reed, Scott Lee Jones, Wesley Jones, Devon Clark, Christian Clark, Dallas Holmes, and James Clark.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Snodgrass, Earl Wayne Honeycutt, and Tim Allen.
