Christal Darlene Eppes

Christal Darlene Eppes, 67, of Elizabeth, Arkansas, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Elizabeth, Arkansas. Christal was born February 4, 1955, in Forrest City, Arkansas, to the late Clarence Hardin Eppes, Jr and Pearlene Frances Lue (Kay) Eppes.

Christal spent her working years as a clock maker (grandfather clocks) for Herman Miller. Christal loved her family and taking trips with her sisters. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and weed eating and was a member of the Viola Church of Christ in Viola, Arkansas. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Christal leaves to mourn her passing, four sons, Justin Jones, Jeffrey Jones, Sam Jones, and Joshua Jones; two daughters, Tricia Jones and Amber Jones; eight grandchildren, Katelyn Jones, Tyler Jones, Tiffany Needham, Darren Needham, Xavier Jones, Kobe Jones, Kaylee Sanchez, and Jaxon Sanchez; two brothers, Barry Eppes and Kippy Craven; two sisters, Angie Jenson and Lisa Austin; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents (Clarence Eppes, Jr. and James and Pearlene Payne), sister (Judy Campbell), four brothers (Randy Eppes, Lanny Eppes, Keith Eppes, and Jamie Payne), and stepbrother (J.A. Payne).

Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 19, 2022, at the Viola Church of Christ in Viola, Arkansas with Bro. Alan Talburt officiating. Memorials may be made to the Viola Church of Christ in Viola, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
