Charlotte Carolyn (Perryman) Kankey

Charlotte Carolyn (Perryman) Kankey, 82, of Viola, Arkansas passed from this life Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Viola, Arkansas. Charlotte was born November 17, 1939, to John Darrell Perryman and Velma Leila (Bray) Perryman at Viola, Arkansas.

Charlotte was united into marriage to Billy Dean Kankey on August 25, 1960, at Kansas City, Missouri. She loved her family dearly and was always there for them when needed. She enjoyed living the farm life and was a member of the Byron Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Charlotte leaves to mourn her passing, two grandchildren, Colton Kankey of Viola, Arkansas and Cheyene Kankey of Charleston, Arkansas; great granddaughter, Abilene Leila Kankey; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband (Billy Kankey), son (Rodney Kankey), parents, and two brothers (Gaylon Perryman and Doyne Ray Perryman).

Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the Byron Cemetery in Byron, Arkansas with Donald Montgomery officiating. Memorials made be made to the Byron Cemetery in Byron, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
