Billy Newman

Billy Joe Newman, 65, of Salem, Arkansas departed this life on September 22, 2019 at Salem, Arkansas. Billy was born to the late Joe Treno Newman and Cloris Idean (DeWitt) Newman on February 28, 1954 in Salem, Arkansas.

Billy spent his working years as a cable tv technician and was of the Church of Christ faith. He was a loving son, brother, father and friend. Billy leaves to mourn his passing; son, Billy Newman of Salem, Arkansas; two brothers, Bobby Newman and wife Jane of Salem, Arkansas and Tommy Newman and wife Peggy of Salem, Arkansas; two sisters, Denice Innis and husband Mike of Salem, Arkansas and Carol Green and husband Timmy of Salem, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother (Freddy Newman).

Memorial services will be Thursday, September 26, 2019, 2:00 PM at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Tim Green officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until time of service Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
