Billy Joe Wyatt, 87, of Pineville, Arkansas passed peacefully at home with his family by his side Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Pineville, Arkansas. Joe was born July 10, 1936, to Thomas Oscar Wyatt and Francis Mae (Skidmore) Wyatt in Wild Cherry, Arkansas.
Joe was united in marriage to Millie Gay Neal on June 26, 1957, in Calico Rock, Arkansas. Joe worked as a well driller, farmer, and hauled milk. Joe loved taking his family on scenic drives, water skiing, going to rodeos, horseback riding, and being a cowboy. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend.
Joe is survived by his son, Gaylon Wyatt (Amy) of Pineville, Arkansas; daughter, Sabrina Sanders of Salem, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Kawana White (Fredy Linthicum) of Viola, Arkansas, Shane White (Esther) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Will Wyatt of Cave City, Arkansas, Evan Wyatt of Pineville, Arkansas, and Rebecca Wyatt of Pineville, Arkansas; two great grandchildren, Elicia and Eliyahu White; sister, Fern Boone of Mountain Home, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded by his wife (Millie Wyatt), parents (Oscar and Mae Wyatt), two brothers (Jack Wyatt and Jim Wyatt), and two sisters (Betty Sue Rosenkranz and Lena Fay Mitchell).
Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Pineville Cemetery in Pineville, Arkansas, with Bro. Eddie Thornley officiating. Interment will be in the Pineville Cemetery in Pineville, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to Elite Hospice of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
