Betty Lee (Kelley) Plymale, 87, departed this life on February 15, 2022, at Mountain Home, Arkansas. Betty was born in Winfield, Kansas on August 1, 1934, to Albert B. Kelley and Edith (Davis) Kelley.
Betty was an elementary teacher for ten years in Kansas and then spent thirty plus years working as a secretary with Baxter Healthcare in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Betty loved playing bingo, putting together puzzles, and reading. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, friend, and was a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church in Viola, Arkansas.
Betty leaves to mourn her passing; son, Dave Arwin Plymale (Chris) of Harrison, Arkansas; daughter, Cherie Panter (Mark) of Mountain Home, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Ashley Evans (Brandon), Cody Cotter (Kurina), Logan Plymale, and Payton Plymale; three step granddaughters, Brooke, Bailey, and Britney Jo Panter; four great grandchildren, Elaine Cotter, Adilynn Cotter, Cutler Evans, and Ridge Cotter; brother, Tom Eugene Kelley (Sue) of Bella Vista, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents (Albert and Edith Kelley).
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, February 21, 2022, at Viola First Baptist Church in Viola, Arkansas with Cody Cotter and Bro. Robert Lash officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 PM until time of the service Monday, February 21, 2022, at Viola First Baptist Church in Viola, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Mark Panter, Cody Cotter, Ashley Evans, and Brandon Evans. Memorials may be made to the Viola Cemetery Association in Viola, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home LLC of Salem, Arkansas.
