Anthony Wayne O`Neal

Anthony Wayne O`Neal, 70, of Salem, Arkansas, passed from this life on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Springfield, Missouri. Anthony was born on February 1, 1954, to Carl Eugene O`Neal and Virginia Louise (Ryan) O`Neal in England, Arkansas. 

Anthony was united in marriage to Brenda Diane Allen on November 30, 1984, in Newark, Arkansas. Anthony spent his working years as a Power Plant Operator at Entergy Independence Plant in Newark, Arkansas. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and served as union steward. Anthony was a family man to his core. He loved his family and enjoyed it when the whole family could get together for any reason. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, Paw Paw, Uncle, friend and was a member of the Newark Southern Baptist Church in Newark, Arkansas. 

Anthony leaves to mourn his passing, daughter, April Oliver of Salem, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Mallory Oliver of Salem, Arkansas and Wesley Oliver of Salem, Arkansas; two brothers, Stan O`Neal of East End, Arkansas and Bart O`Neal (Lee) of North Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters, Charlotte Casstevens (Tommy) of East End, Arkansas and Yvonne Kelley of East End, Arkansas; several nieces and a nephew; great nieces and a great nephew; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife (Brenda), daughter (Wendy), and parents.

Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Mark Rivers officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until time of service on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Barker Funeral home in Salem, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
