Joshua Ray Sutherland, 34, of Salem, Arkansas was born on November 23, 1982, in Salem, Arkansas, son of Dennis Ray and Debra Lee (Skrapates) Sutherland.He departed this life on January 7, 2017 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Joshua was a loving son, brother and father. Joshua worked as a lineman and attended Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was an avid fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals. Joshua loved his sons, visiting with people, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his parents, Dennis and Debra Sutherland of Salem, Arkansas, four sons, Peyton Grant Fife of Oberlin, Kansas, Bentley Ray Sutherland of Oberlin, Kansas, Hayden Scott Sutherland of Oberlin, Kansas and Brennen Scot Owens of Salem, Arkansas; brother, Eric Sutherland and wife Vikki of Salem, Arkansas; two nieces, Emma Lee and Allie Nicole Sutherland of Salem, Arkansas; three nephews, Cedric, Marcus, and Evan Cagle of Salem, Arkansas and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Ruth Skrapates officiating. Visitaion will be 6:00 ~ 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Barker Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Camp Cemetery in Camp, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Stacy Skrapates, Marcus Cagle, Tiffany Weintraub, Cedric Cagle, Jesse James, and Ian Williams. Honorary Pallbearers are Wes James, Taylor Duggins, Tyler Duggins, and Jeremy Friend. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
