Elsie Mae Langle York, 93, of Salem, Arkansas was born on October 21, 1923, in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, daughter of Ulysses H.H. and Mary Elizabeth Sclena (Needler) Shetrone. She departed this life on January 5, 2017 at Southfork River Therapy and Living Center in Salem, Arkansas. Elsie was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed coloring, puzzle books, sewing pillows and crocheting. She is survived by her three sons James E. Langle of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Jerry Ray Langle of Ash Flat, Arkansas, and William P. Langle and wife Chris of Salem, Arkansas; daughter, Sclena Brower and husband Jimmy of Salem, Arkansas; brother, Henry Shetrone of Greenfield, Indiana; sister, Ernestine Seacat of Scottsdale, Arizona; fifteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ulysses H.H. and Mary Elizabeth Sclena (Needler) Shetrone; two husbands, John Langle and Avril York; infant son, Donald Langle; two brothers, Bud and Sanford Shetrone and sister, Irene Shetrone. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Alan Winberry officiating. Visitaion will be 10:00 A.M. until time of service Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Barker Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Moten Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. Pallbearers are James Langle, Mark Langle, Jerry Langle, William Langle Jr., William Langle and Eric Langle. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
