Emma Jeanettea Williams, 88, of Salem, Arkansas, was born on January 14, 1928, in Salem, Arkansas, daughter of Arthur Layfette and Zella Mae (Farra) Henry. She departed this life on Sunday, October 9, 2016 in Jasper, Arkansas.
Emma was married to Roy Leonard Williams on June 23, 1946 in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. She spent her working years as a homemaker and was a member of the Sturkie Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, and sister. She was survived by her two sons; Jerry Williams (Arlene) of Coarsegold, California and Rick Williams (Stacey) of Harrison, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Deanna Williams Jackson, Matt Williams, Justin Williams, and Tony Williams; four great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Roy Williams), son (Larry Gene Williams), brother (Jack Henry), and sister (Nina Henry).
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 15, 2016, 11:00 AM at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Marvin Rickett, Bro. Ashley Pendergrass, and Bro. Matt Pendergrass officiating. Interment will be at Stateline Cemetery in Moko, Arkansas. Visitation will be Saturday, October 15, 2016, 10:00 AM until time of service. Pallbearers are Raymond Perkins, Bruce Barnett, James Pendergrass, Larry Peterson, Phil Story, and Nelson Bassham. Honorary Pallbearers are brothers-in-law, nephews, and the men of the Sturkie Church of Christ.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Paragould Childrens Home.
