Charles Lee “Charlie” Campbell was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on May 12, 1960, son of Lee Jay and Helen L. (Baker) Campbell. He departed this life on June 27, 2016, at the age of 56 years, 1 month and 15 days.
Charlie married Judy Gail Eppes on August 13, 2005, at Elizabeth, Arkansas. He worked for 13 years at Aeroquip and several years as a Fiber Optic Contractor. He was of the Church of Christ faith. He will be remembered for his love of family and friends and was a friend to all and never met a stranger. His smile was contagious and always brought joy to those around him. We are blessed he was a part of our lives and you will be truly missed. You will forever be in our hearts.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Campbell of Elizabeth, Arkansas; 2 sons, Brandon Lee Campbell (Kimberly) of Denver, Colorado, and Brandon Lewis Campbell (Erin) of West Plains, Missouri; 4 daughters, Jessica Campbell (Le Johnson) of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Michelle Schutte (Tim) of Plainwell, Michigan, Jennifer Bickford (Terry) of Glencoe, Arkansas, and Desiree Nichols of Panama City Beach, Florida; parents, Lee and Helen Campbell of Viola, Arkansas; brother, Merle Campbell (Tammy) of Viola, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 1, 2016, at Barker Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with burial at Elizabeth Cemetery in Elizabeth, Arkansas. Visitation will be Thursday, June 30, 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Jake Campbell, Bradley Robbins, Robert Cadenbach, Rick Hodges, Tony Rogers and Gary Burns. Honorary Pallbearer is Barry Eppes. Memorials may be made to the Children’s Home of Paragould, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
