Jane Ann Guffey

Jane Ann (Stone) Guffey was born in West Plains, Missouri, June 23, 1957, daughter of Floyd and Eula (Keith) Stone. She departed this life Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas, at the age of 58 years, 11 months and 22 days. Jane was united in marriage to Kennard Carrol Guffey in Salem, Arkansas, February 11, 1977. She spent her working years as owner/operator at Salem Feed Mill. Jane also worked at Tri County Shirt Company, Stanleys Grocery and B & J Restaurant. She was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered as a loving wife, mom, grandmother and sister. Jane is survived by her husband, Kennard Guffey of Salem, Arkansas; three sons, Mark Guffey and wife, Cristy, Keith Guffey and wife, Mindy, all of Salem, Arkansas, and Josh Guffey and wife, Crystal of Cabot, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Tyler, Matthew, Hannah, Owen, Brianna and Brooklyn; one sister, Judy Clements and husband, Leonard of Salem, Arkansas; a brother, Ray Stone and wife, Mary of West Plains, Missouri; many other friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 16, 2016, 10:00 AM at Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas, with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Interment will be in the Stateline Cemetery in Moko, Arkansas, with arrangements entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Stateline Cemetery Association and may be left at the funeral home. Music by Karen Willett and Doug Driesel. Pallbearers are Chris Clements, Jason Miller, Don Clements, Josh Hodges, Tony Kerley and Michael Bassham. Honorary pallbearers are Charles Willett, Charlie Aldridge, Ralph Barton and Leonard Clements.
