Christine Carol (Teller) Sherpinski was born in Port Jervis, New York, September 26, 1940, daughter of Ralph Grant Teller Sr. and Dorthea (Fritz) Teller. She departed this life Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas, at the age of 74 years, 7 months and 28 days.
Christine was a member of Willow Springs Methodist Church, Ozark Mountain Music Makers, and Fulton County Relay for Life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Christine is survived by five daughters, Cathleen Lane (Ralph) of Oxford, Arkansas, Cheryl Sherpinski of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Carol Cook of Port Jervis, New York, Charlotte Bowers of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Jeani (Kent) Switala of Otisville, New York; one son, Hermengildo Roman of Ft. Hood, Texas; twenty-two grandchildren; forty-one great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Elliott of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, and Wilma Ness of Ocala, Florida; two brothers, Ralph Teller of Wappingers Falls, New York, and Warren Teller of Waltham, Massachusetts; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kelly Brown; one brother, Lowell Teller, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas, 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 27, 2015, with Pastor Greg Dowler officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Ralph Lane, Jerry Thrasher, John Homod, Jody Sisco, Joey Anderson and Jackie Vanderbilt. Services entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas. Memorials preferred to Relay for Life.
